What to expect from the course:
*Carefully designed exercises and sequences to support the development of strength and body awareness required for this beautiful circus art.
*Warm up draws on influences including yoga, dance and pilates. We will start with conditioning exercises that form the basis of aerial technique.
*The classes develop through learning static poses into full sequences.
*Abby is a very experienced performer and teacher, with a particular strength in creating unique choreography, and facilitating students ability to dance in the air.
*In the beginners class there is a focus on technique, in the intermediates the focus is on repertoire and creation.
What to bring with you: Recommended: comfortable double layer of leggings with fitted t-shirt thats easy to tuck in/leotard or shorts to cover stomach area.
Level: Intermediate/Advanced, anyone unsure of their suitability is welcome to contact the tutor to discuss requirements
