Maximise the results from your exercise with Fitness Pilates, a modern research based workout based on the teaching of Joseph Pilates. This workout is challenging yet safe building strength from the inside out by targeting deep postural muscles to improve muscle tone and give you great posture. Exercises are non impact and performed in standing, seated and lying positions with the focus on body alignment and core stability.
What to expect from the course:
Pilates with a smile! Small class size enabling personal attention to help you progress. No two sessions will be the same, you can expect to become confident with basic Fitness Pilates sequences which we will develop and progress as you get stronger.
Fitness Pilates will:
Tone and strengthen your whole body. Creating a flatter midsection and long lean muscles.
Reduce your risk of injury by offsetting muscular imbalances.
Help your body move optimally in sport daily and activities.
Improve your flexibility, Mobility, Co-ordination, Agility and Balance.
Energise your body through slow breathing technique used throughout the class.
Leave you feeling relaxed and revitalised.
What to bring with you:
Mats provided though you are welcome to bring your own if preferred.
Mixed ability progressions and adaptations are made to suit all fitness levels. Please note this is a not a remedial Pilates class, Fitness Pilates is a dynamic workout designed for the healthy adult.
