M2 AIR SHARE is a celebratory exhibition and symposium. Held at Vestibules event space inside City Hall, College Green, Bristol over October Half Term; the event will showcase the work of several young artists (aged between 7 and 15 years) who have all been part of social making artists Ali Brown & Megan Clark-Bagnall’s M2 AIR (Artist in Residence) programme designed for children, inside BV Studios, their shared working space.
For the last year Ali & Megan have been opening their studio door to applications from young people to join their residency programme. Each young person has been given two or three titles to chose from (titles of Bristol art exhibitions on at the time of their residency). This title is the young artists starting point. Ali & Megan act as supportive Su-Artists and together the trio strive to realise the creative vision of the young artist over two days on a ten pound material budget. All the outcomes have been surprising, exciting and interactive.
