Join us, listen to startups share their story whilst you share yours…Learn from others, network with like-minded people and inspire one another!
Konichiwa Agency and Indies in Bristol are hosting a new series of events called ‘Startup Stories’. The events will be a one-off opportunity to gain entrepreneurial, behind the scenes insight into the premise of a business or project, uncovering the passion and dedication to starting up. Whilst meeting other small businesses owners, or people who have an interest in this area.
For our launch event we are excited to be collaborating with an growing project and organisation Artspace Lifespace, at their newest venue The Vestibules at The City Hall.
Artspace Lifespace recycles vacant, under-used and problem properties into thriving creative resources, such as The Island, Jacobs Wells Baths Centre, SPACE and now The Vestibules. With each building they manage they aim to make sustainable and self-supporting; all of their projects are self-funded, supporting and promoting budding creatives and startups with their own projects.
Dina Ntziora, project manager of Artspace Lifespace, and Trustee Doug Francis will be joining us to tell us about their fascinating journey, from when they took on their first vacant building, how the project grew, how they ensure the projects are sustainable and self-funded and the kind of creative projects, startups and events they have supported over the years.
Tickets £5 – Every ticket will include an alcoholic / soft drink and some nibbles
