Suspension Fitness at The Island Bristol

Suspension Fitness is a workout system that leverages gravity and your body weight to perform a wide variety of exercises. You are in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.

This Power Core Workout focuses on building muscular strength and balance in a slower paced low impact workout. You will Improve your core stability and control using the Suspension straps combined with standing mat based core work.

Lucy is a Personal Trainer Qualified at Level Three on The Register of Exercise professionals. She has worked in the fitness industry since 2006 delivering high quality group exercise classes and Personal Training. She specialises in Sports Specific Fitness and postural improvement teaching Yoga and Pilates.

Six class passes can be used in any of Lucy’s classes at The Island within 3 months. Please note that booking is essential and subject to availability.

Trigger Point Pilates- Wednesdays:17:45-18:30
Suspension Fitness -Core Power Workout- Wednesdays 18:30-19:15
