Ever wondered what now happens behind the closed doors of the former C.I.D unit, or in the darkness of the once inhabited interview rooms in the corridors of ‘The Island’ - Bristol’s former Bridewell Police Station?

The occupants of the artist’s studios hidden away in the depths of the creative hub that is 'The Island' (home of the infamous Carnyville) invite you, the public to come and see their work for the first time.

The exhibition will feature the work of over 20 artists and will be held in the gallery space previously occupied by Plan9, and the recent NEAT Studios photographic exhibition.

Expect to see a wide and diverse range of exciting work presented through a variety of disciplines from painting, drawing and photography to sculpture, textiles and printmaking.

The exhibition will open with a day packed with a wealth of creative activities to see and do, including; live art, visuals, zines, performance, music, workshops, poetry and all things interactive.
