Contemporary Class with Gabbie Cook

February 4 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)
Weekly on the same day

Morning Class with Gabbie Cook brought to you by Moving Through Acrobatics!

These classes will focus on the fundamental techniques for release, floorwork and acro dance. We will build on these ideas and apply them to improvisation and moving together.

You will be given tools to find more fluidity, softness and momentum, as well as encouraged to develop your individual style. One of the key aims is that everyone has lots of fun and goes away with something exciting to apply to their practice!

Gabbie has been teaching for several years and appreciates that every body is different and people learn and move in different ways. The classes will be paced appropriately for the group, as well as challenging enough to push everyone just a little out of their comfort zone – because that is when the fun starts!

WHEN: 4th, 11th, 18th February – 11:30-1pm

WHERE: The Dance Space at The Island
Bridewell Street, 1st floor

COST: £8 drop-in, £20 for 3 classes
No need to book.

PLEASE ARRIVE 10 MINUTES EARLY, so we can start altogether and on time. The entrance to The Island can be a bit confusing so please prepare for that. It is on Bridewell Street and you will need to press the buzzer to be let in.
