Finding Your Colours Workshop
September 9 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
September 9 7-9 PM
September 11 7-9 PM
WHAT DOES COLOUR MEAN FOR YOU?
Colour is hugely important and deeply personal – yet we often do not get the chance in our busy lives to sit and ask what it really means to us.
And why do we like some colours and not others?
We both may call it blue, but how do we know we see the same blues?
This is a discursive workshop designed to immerse you in the world of colour. Learn how to talk and think about colour in new ways, exploring and deepening your own personal relationship with colour.
This workshop is for colour enthusiasts, artists or people who are just curious to learn more. You will be given a few tasks to complete in pairs, and then as a group. Each one builds on the other and they are designed to give you the tools to think and to talk about colour in new ways.
This is an intimate affair with only 6 places available.
All materials will be provided, feel free to bring a notebook and something that is a good talking point if you wish.
This is part of Oxidate Design’s residency at ‘THE ISLAND’ and further work will be exhibited on September 14th and 15th as part of the Open Doors weekend at The Island.
