Another News Story takes a fresh view on the European refugee crisis. The film opens in 2015 Greece as refugees arrive on the idyllic island of Lesbos and follows refugees into Hungary and Croatia and across Europe to a hoped-for sanctuary. Rebecca Jo Lesley will be exhibiting her entire collection of work in the Great Hall of Arts Mansion. This will be her second solo exhibition and will include contemporary portrait paintings and a short surreal film which was commissioned by Channel 4 Random Acts. She will create more figurative surreal paintings in the mansion during her residency and will host free workshops throughout the month.
