Findings: Art Group Show

This exhibition profiles the work of the Artspace Lifespace SPACE
Art group. The Art Group began in January 2018 and runs as a weekly class.

Findings brings together the work by participants to celebrate the skills, sharing, and community that the sessions have facilitated over the year. Sessions have been led Alex Goodman artist and art tutor whose work aims to empower communities and individuals through learning and creativity.

Together the group explore printmaking, painting, drawing, willow weaving, craft skills, and many other techniques. Also the group have taken trips to local art galleries, Ashton Court Mansion for a BBQ and Westonbirt Arboretum.

Come along and view the work and find out more about the Over 50s Art Classes! Classes will continue on Wednesdays 10:30-12:30 and are funded by Awards for All, Bristol Ageing Better, and supported by Artspace Lifespace, SPACE.

Touch is an unusual event which encourages visitors to touch and interact with the exhibits.

Suitable for all ages this show will include the work of Emily Binmore who invites you to play with her hand made puppets and pocket dolls.

Make your own simple puppets and pom poms. See if you can guess the length of the longest scarf you have ever seen! Witness some Graffiti art with a difference.
